About the Local 157 Training Center
Training Coordinator's Welcome,
I appreciate your interest in our program. If welding is what interests you, you've found the right place. Our training is second to none when it comes to welding. Welders in our program receive UA certifications and extensive fabrication training. If your the type of individual that is looking for fair pay for an honest day's work, this is also the right place.
There are other aspects to the piping world than welding. We train our apprentices to understand what is required of them by the piping industry (plumbing and pipefitting) and provide them with the proper mental tools to implement what they've learned in the field. Our History
Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 157 has a proud history with more than 100 years of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry. Since 1896, the members of Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 157 and the Union Contractors who employ them have been working together to meet the needs of area industries.
